- As a Sustainable Development Unit, we have made the management of our physical environment a high corporate priority and aim to minimize the environmental impact of all activities. The Company and its employees aim to comply with all local environmental laws and regulations, and seek to minimize all environmental risk at its sites. We are committed to communicating to all of our employees the importance of protecting the physical environment, and the company provides training to ensure that all employees are equipped to meet their responsibilities in this area.
- We believe that mining companies must operate in a manner that balances environmental, social and economic values while maintaining a social licence in areas where they operate. In our Sustainable Development Report, our goal is to enhance the social, economic and environmental benefits of the project to local communities while at the same time delivering the vital minerals and the essentials to the world’s needs.
